Temperature Probe PlacementIssuing time:2025-06-06 10:01 The temperature probe measures temperature through conductive heat transfer on its contact surface, similar to a clinical thermometer. If the probe is improperly attached to the body surface or becomes dislodged due to patient movement, it will result in inaccurate temperature readings. To prevent this, we recommend securing the temperature probe firmly in the patient's axilla using two pieces of medical tape: one to adhere the probe to the skin, and another to secure the lead wire to prevent dislodgement when moved. For optimal accuracy, core temperature measurement is preferred.
